Increasing Harvests

Been lots of peas and a fair amount of lettuce. Next year plant more Mesclun, and stagger more plantings. The lettuce definitely likes being next to the peas and under the cloth shade. Today I picked another big bag of peas, a bag of lettuce with some garlic and onion scapes, some beets, Swiss chard, radishes, a few red amaranth leaves, and a big bag of Purslane.   The tomatoes have a lot of the Septoria spots and I've been cutting them off, but it's been muggy, warm and raining constantly for a long time.  The tree swallows are nesting in the Blue Bird box again, hope they don't lose their eggs this time. The peppers and basil had been yellowish and stunted until I gave them some Miracle Grow and they look much better now.
