Planting!

Transplanted today: Red Kitten Spinach, Beets (lots!), onions, Swiss Chard. Seeds: Parsnips. At home, transplanted some kale and mesclun into planters. Started Butternut Squash, watermelon, cucumbers. Update 4/28 - planted potatoes. Next year get only 10 lbs of seed!  15 lbs too much.

Blooming: Primrose, daffodils, magnolias blooming. At Sleeping Giant, Trout lily were at their peak, and Bloodroot and Dutchman's Breeches were also in bloom. The first dandelions are just starting. Forsythia in full bloom.

Beets - four of these. 

Onion 

Transplanted lettuce from last time. Hanging in there. 

Garlic, peas coming up.

Spinach - Bloomsdale (some from last fall)

Spicy Asian Greens

Bridger Onions - corner plot (summer onions, not for storage)

Carrots are starting to sprout.

Back trellis - peas up, mesclun really never came up aside from a few sprouts. Planted Red Kitten transpants there.

Planting parsnips! Also, the potato thingy. Supposed to get up to 100 lbs from that. 

Parsnip seeds all covered up - take 3 weeks to sprout.
