Heading into Fall, Beans beans beans

Watermelon #3.  Just opened Watermelon #4 today, just as good, and it was 23 pounds.

Pole beans on right producing well but hammered by Bean Beetles. Getting about one bag of beans every 2 or 3 days. Pole beans on left are the Yard Long beans, just starting to produce. Not touched by bean beetles. Parsnips looking great. Brussel Sprouts...big plants but not producing anything.

Corner plot, the marigolds really did well. Tomatoes have all been ripped out. Half the butternut removed. A few bell peppers were produces. Lots and lots of tomatillos.

Spicy Asian Greens got big. A rat or vole is tunneling under this bed.

Swiss Chard doing great. Watermelon randomly scattered about plot.

This one is ready but we've got to eat #4 first.

Crazy tomatillos. Watermelon #4 is the big one hiding under it, along with a butternut.

Watermelon #3, Yard Long Beans.

Biscuit tied up outside the front gate.

New kale growing amongst the peppers.

Yard Long Beans, arugula, lettuce, mizuna

Cabbage (pretty worm-eaten), cilantro, jalapenos.

Cabbage, red amaranthe, cauliflower, giant southern mustard

Cabbage, jalapenos, greens in the back.
