Planting!!

First warm day after weeks of  below normal temps. Planted the following seeds at the garden:

Parsnips "All American" by Botanical Interests
Carrots (Burpee seed tape, "Scarlet Nantes")
Radishes (from seeds saved last year)
Liatrus (seeds collected from some flowers in bloom last fall).
Rutabega (saved seeds?)
More peas (3rd row, finished off the pack)
Arugula (saved seeds?)
Amaranth (saved seeds)

Raked up some long dead hay in the meadow and used for mulch.

Growing in the garden:  Garlic, carrots over-wintered, kale, columbine planted from seed last fall, cilantro.

In the house, I planted:  tomatillos, basil, and

"Early Curled Siberian Kale" from Monticello. Sprouting 3/31
. Put flat with tomatillos  & basil on the boiler.
